Architecture shaped by purpose, place and experience.
A Mauritian practice for residential, hospitality, commercial and industrial projects, carried from the first concept to handover.
Each commission is developed around its purpose, its setting and the people who will experience it. The design grows from those conditions, not from a predetermined style.
- Licensed in Mauritius, qualified from day one
- Registered with the Professional Architects Council of Mauritius, so your design, permits and site work are in qualified hands from the first sketch to handover.
- Trained in Paris, proven on site
- Master and Bachelor of Architecture from the École Spéciale d’Architecture, Paris, and an MBA from the University of Mauritius. Since then: residential, hospitality, diplomatic, institutional, infrastructure and industrial projects, in Mauritius and abroad.
- One principal architect, start to finish
- Concept, statutory approvals, consultant coordination and site follow-up under one direction, delivered with a team of architects, draughtsmen and specialist consultants able to take on projects of any scale.

Le HavrePrivate house, Pointe aux Piments. Built 2026.
Arrival
Floating steps rise through the entrance garden. Then the doors open, and the house reveals itself at once: the living room opens wide onto the courtyard, with dining and bedrooms gathered around it.
Materials
Timber, concrete, stone and metal, each used truthfully. Stone and concrete hold the coolness, timber warms the hand, and fine metal draws the lines.
The patio
The house wraps around a planted patio and pool, creating its own microclimate. Shade and water temper the heat, breezes cross the rooms, and natural light reaches deep into the plan.
Indoor and outdoor
Wide sliding doors open the living spaces to the patio and pool. In the living room, a glazed transom above the concrete beam draws daylight deep inside, so the room stays bright and connected to the sky.
Evening
At dusk, the patio glows. The water holds the last light, and the house gathers quietly around it.
More of Le Havre

BeforeAfter

Architecture is experienced through more than appearance.
Light and shadow, texture, temperature, sound and movement all shape how a building feels and how it is remembered. The practice brings these together through simplicity: spaces kept clear, materials used with purpose, details carefully considered.
Simplicity does not mean removing character. It means removing what is unnecessary, so the building is easier to use, to build and to maintain.
Fair-faced concrete, natural stone, timber, lime plaster, linen, earth and sand.
How a project is carried
The same architect keeps the direction from the first brief to the last site visit, so the original intention survives the technical work.
Understand
The client, the brief, the budget and the site, before any drawing begins.
Simplify
Complex requirements brought into one clear architectural response.
Experience
Light, shadow, material, temperature and sound treated as part of the design.
Coordinate
Engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors and specialists brought together.
Deliver
Followed through construction so the architectural direction holds.

The architect
Fabrice Annea is a licensed architect in Mauritius. He holds a Bachelor and a Master of Architecture from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris, and an MBA from the University of Mauritius focused on project management and strategy.
He brings design and delivery together: every project is considered architecturally, then managed with the same care for budget, programme and approvals.
Residential and property development
The core of the practice: private houses and residential schemes shaped by privacy, light, climate and landscape. Fabrice led Le Havre, a property development scheme in Pointe aux Piments, from first concept to completed construction. Current commissions include apartment schemes in Floréal and Pereybere, and a seafront residence at Butte à l’Herbe, designed through to its interiors.
Hospitality
Hotels and leisure places are defined by arrival, movement, privacy and service. The practice gives them the same attention to atmosphere as its houses, with the experience of large buildings involving many stakeholders.
Institutional, healthcare and diplomatic
With Richard + Schoeller Architectes in Paris, Fabrice worked on the French Embassy in Abuja, from design through construction, and the design of the French Embassy in Accra. He also worked on a media library, a hospital, universities and schools, including international competitions. On those buildings, security, representation, durability and architectural quality had to be resolved as one, with engineers involved from the earliest design.
Airport and infrastructure
The extension of Rodrigues airport, and infrastructure projects for Airport Terminal Operations Ltd: buildings that must meet international standards while they stay in operation.
Industrial and commercial
Industrial buildings begin with process. Recent work includes a food production facility planned to HACCP hygiene standards, a manufacturing plant, warehouses, a paint facility, a garage and a fitness centre. Each was taken through design, technical coordination and permitting.

A successful project begins with a clear conversation.
